Voted 2023's Most Admired Woman by Today's Woman Magazine (home & garden), Summer started her own design company to pair her love of people and creating beautiful spaces. Her love for design started young, watching her grandmother's impeccable taste and attention to the tiniest details in her own home. She taught her about color pairings and how to create beautiful and memorable spaces where people could gather.
Her home told a story and she knew she wanted the same for the home she would share with her own family one day. Summer Crawford Design was created after she and her husband built their first custom home. With his home construction background and her eye for design, they made a great team and built a space that they love.

Cacky is a former T.V. news anchor who uses her communication skills to create our website and newsletter content. She also assists with designs for our short-term rental units and personal client designs. Cacky is Summer’s sister but is also a twin. During her news days, she had the opportunity to interview her music idol Dolly Parton! Now she shares her love for Dolly with her three girls.

Kenna is currently pursuing an interior design degree at the University of Louisville while working for our team assisting with home staging and designs. She is also a talented painter, creating custom art and wall murals for our client’s spaces. Summer Crawford Design gave her a jump start in interior design when she began interning part time in 2019. Kenna loves painting, traveling to new places, using her creativity, and spending time with family and friends. She has two cats and a dog names Lola. Kenna has traveled to 14 different states and can’t wait to travel more.

Khara is a former portrait photographer who has a creative eye for capturing all of our design jobs so that it can be showcased to present and potential clients. Her creativity also seeps over to our social media where she handles all of our digital content. Khara’s personal interests include spending time with her kids and two dogs, camping with friends, and personal fitness.

Nixon is a Pyredoodle who has been with the team since the beginning. He enjoys coming with the girls to various job sites and is always willing to find and test out the comfiest place to lay. Speaking of comfy places to lay, Nixon’s favorite pastimes are laying under tiny spaces and snuggling with friends.
